Facial Trauma-Case 1

Facial Trauma | case 1

Case Details & Description

Patient Age: 7
Gender: Male
Type of Surgery: Facial Trauma

This 7-year-old boy was initially seen by our physicians in the ER following a traumatic dog bite that required immediate attention. There was extensive damage done to the left side of the face, cheek, neck and ear that required a skilled plastic surgeon like ours to repair the facial trauma.

After the initial procedure, the patient was seen at our Wellspring Plastic Surgery office in Austin, TX for follow-up visits to monitor his progress. About 10 months following the initial surgery, together with the patient, decided to do a secondary more minor procedure to perfect the facial incision so the patient would have the most optimal aesthetic outcome.

Overall, the patient and his family are thrilled with the results.
